UKG x TipHaus Integration Requirements

TipHaus connects to UKG's API and pulls labor and employee data for use in Tip Calculations and Distributions. In order to set up the integration, a User needs to be created inside UKG for TipHaus' API access.

The TipHaus API User Needs access to the following endpoints:

Please provide the following to your TipHaus implementation manager to set up the integration

1. host_name https://hostname/api/v1/commons/locations/multi_read

2. client_id, client_secret

3. username and password of our API user.

Once integrated, TipHaus will be able to pull labor information into the Dashboard. You will need set up hyperfinds inside UKG that TipHaus will use in order to filter to the correct labor per locations. Please set up and provide the following:

1. Hyperfind Name and ID for each locations TipHaus will be connecting to.

2. Location IDs from the organization paths for each location.

  • Example: “Organization/United States/Metropolitan Plant/Machine Shop”
  • This is an example from the documentation. In practice, this value can be a number.
